There are many different species to choose from and many things you can do with them after they have been created. For example you can buy a paint brush for it and change it's colour, or you can train it up to become more powerful and fight other pets in the battledome. You can also play games with them which probaly the main reason people sign up to the site in the first place.

Nepeta Leijon is a troll from the webcomic homestuck. She appears in the fourth act and is an oliveblood on the hemospectrum, above a mustardblood but below a jadeblood. Nepeta represents the zodiac Leo. Her cave is filled with the many animal pelts that she has collected from hunting with her clawkind weapons.

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.
For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode.
