Though the name itself is unique , prefers to go by the name Rella. Quite possibly the most unique and completely well rounded person you will ever encounter. Whether it as a friend , worker , family member she goes above and beyond to truly show how much she cares everyday. Stunning beauty , insanely funny are just a few of the things ... but you don't have time to read a never ending list :P . One of the most trustworthy people I have ever met , very rarely do you find this trait but I have to say I'd go to the ends of the world to see her smile and can trust with any secret. Sounds pretty good yeah? CAREFUL though she may be super cute and teddy bear like in nature , do not provoke or you will face the tiny fists of fury ( If in danger , bribe with Dr Pepper and Funyuns) . Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
