Molyscrew'd
When an upcoming game that looks like it has endless potential hypes one up enough to buy said game on day one.
However, when the game actually comes out, it ends up having considerably less depth than developers made it seem.
Originating from the gaming "visionary" Peter Molyneux and many of his games such as Fable, where he commented that "You could do ANYTHING." which turned out to be completely untrue.

Ratfucker
Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
