Flying pests that look similar to mosquitoes. Even though these things don't bite... the sheer numbers of them in one location can be extremely disruptive. Midge swarms have even been known to cause disruption to traffic and can also appear on weather radars.

Most commonly found near streams, rivers, ponds, and large bodies of water. Usually dormant until spring and early summer weather.

Jeff's entire house was covered in midges... you couldn't even tell the house was white.

Midget Spinner

The sexual act of lying down on your back with an erection, and having a little person sit on your dick (vaginally or anally). They then lift their legs up, you grab them by the sides, and spin them around super quickly like a Beyblade.

Example

Person 1: Man, I'm feeling so relaxed. Got a three foot tall hooker last night and gave her a Midget Spinner.

Person 2: Oh yeah, I've heard those are super therapeutic!

MIT of the Midwest

A term reserved for schools in the Midwestern United States that are strong in science, technology, engineering and mathematics(STEM) . This term primarily is used to refer to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) as many of its college of engineering graduates and faculties have founded large successful technology companies such as Oracle, Tesla, AMD, Youtube, Paypal, and Yelp among others. The University of Illinois is also home to the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA).

HAL 9000 was born in Urbana, Illinois, home to the "MIT of the midwest."
