2009 word to replace friend-with-benefits since it's too long, conspicuous and pretentious.

Its ambiguity can be used to misdirect or cover a friend you haven't quite decided to allot into either the friend or f* category.

The "m" can be silent or dragged for varying degrees of honesty, deception, coyness, bashfulness, chastity, or modesty.

1) "Dude she's got a bum you just want to destroy, but she's also your student. You could get fired."
"Yeh, she's just a mfriend."

In Book 2 of "Did I Mention I Need You" Chapter 5, it stated this sentence in Spanish purposely because a girl the character loves wouldn't understand what he would say. These words stated "I'm dying to kiss you" Yet she thought he said the waitress is coming.

"Say something in Spanish, It's cute when you speak Spanish."

"Me estoy muriendo por besarte"

"*Smiles* what did you say?"

"I'm dying to kiss you"

"Wait wh-"

*He interrupted her by leaning in for the kiss*

McFriend

Not as good as a real friend but you use one from time to time to fill a need.
Not someone you would ahng out with long term, a temporary solution to boredom/loneliness.
Someone you pick up when you need them and go without when you dont.
Can be applied to same-sex and opposite sex relationships, of the platonic or sexual nature.
In most cases the nature of the McFriendship goes one way, with one person being the consumer and the other the provider.

the person you email when bored at work because you know they will reply

the person you hook up with at the end of a night in town because they are there and you didnt pick up anyone else

cara: hey beth do you wana go out tonight?
beth: sure
cara: can you drive? i have no money
beth: you are such a user am i just a mcfriend to you??

adam: did you hook up with beth again last night? do you like her or something?
jimmy: nah shes just my mcfriend
