meta-lit

A portmanteau of "meta" and "literal" used to describe a pun-actual event. It refers to a situation where a physical action and its figurative metaphor occur as a single, unified experience.

Unlike the common usage of "literally" (to mean "actually"), meta-lit cannot stand alone. It is a conversational hook that invites an explanation to reveal the sometimes unobvious metaphor. It highlights the cosmic irony of moments where life is perfectly "on-the-nose."

"I was meta-lit snowballed today."
(Explanation: I was pelted with actual snowballs (literal) and became overwhelmed because there were so many coming at once (metaphorical).)

When a statement is both metaphorical and literal at the same time.

Justin's friends wanted him to wake up metaliterally, both from his state of sleep and to the fact that he was wasting his days being a hermit in his room.

Metalitopia 

An overwhelming feeling of purity and perfect peace of the state of mind that is free from craving, anger and other afflictive states while one is a listening to or attending a Heavy Metal concert. The philosophical concept that we all could live in a perfect world if everyone just listened to a little metal music.

Metalitamorph

When what started as a metaphor becomes literal.

Someone metaphorically called Megan a “shithead.” Coincidentally that evening, Megan’s head became literally covered in poop.

Shortened version: “metalit”

This happened in a metalitamorphical fashion.

metalitus 

a disease in which somebody makes a sudden shift in music taste to any form of metal. they then become obsessed with metal for many years to come and end up worshipping some icon or symbol for a metal band. The largest prone to this disease are males between the ages of 13-19.

Father Jim: "Hello son, i heard you got metalitus. Is this going to change your belief in the lord almighty?"
Kid: "ALL HALE METAL!!!"

Metalitarian 

extremist metalhead who does not allow any other music genre than metal to be played in their home, in their car, on their computer or even on their radio.

Scene kid: I don't know why you hang out with that guy, he's a fucking psycho just like every other metalhead in the world.
Goth chick: what do you have against him? He's never done anything to you.
Scene kid: just last year, he kicked my ass and busted my jaw for hating on metal... I'm telling you, he is a complete Metalitarian.

Breadhead 

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".

A breadhead is like a crackhead, but for money instead of crack.
