mooze

To slowly walk with no particular purpose, barely aware that you are walking. Most commonly seen when browsing at products in a store, and often results in a collision with another person. It is less of walking, and more of shifting one's weight around.

I hate it when people mooze. Their minds are so wrapped up in what they see that they pay no attention to the fact that they're about to knock someone over.

This word is usually used to describe a certain person in a condescending manner, i.e. "He's such a mcboozer." Another, more specific use is in describing the person who has stolen your significant other, etc. Commonly found in conjunction with the word "loser", i.e. "loser mcboozer."
