A type of cancer which causes a group of blood cancers that usually begin in the bone marrow and result in high numbers of abnormal blood cells. These blood cells are not fully developed and are called blasts or leukemia cells.

Person 1: hey I heard your mother got cancer. What kind of cancer is it?
Person 2: it's leukaemia. She was sent to the hospital for immediate treatment

Coined by the show "American Dad", an overly offensive way of calling a remarkably young person prematurely bald. Generally used as an insult, but not used to describe people who shave their heads.

Steve Martin was bald at an incredibly young age, so it isn't unlikely that he is, in fact, Leukemia Skywalker in disguise.

Cancer of the blood cells. The growth and development of the blood cells are abnormal. Strictly speaking, leukemia should refer only to cancer of the white blood cells (the leukocytes) but in practice it can apply to malignancy of any cellular element in the blood or bone marrow, as in red cell leukemia (erythroleukemia).
