Acronym came about upon the release of Halo 3. Hidden Skulls can be collected during the campaign, which unlock toggleable difficulty options before starting a level, such as no hud enemies have twice the health, throw grenades more often, etc. LASO refers to when someone plays through a level or the campaign on Legendary mode (the toughest difficulty setting) in addition to having all of the Skulls turned on. A grueling and many times insurmountable challenge.
This acronym can also be used as a generic video gaming term, meaning to play through the game on the hardest difficulty, while applying self imposed rules that handicap the player character's effectiveness in combat. Ex: I may only use the lowest class of weapons, no grenades, avoid EXP gain at all possible, etc.

The hardest challenge I've ever seen, completing this means you become the God of halo. This is a challenge in which you put the difficulty on legendary, then turn on a skull except envy, laso stands for legendary all skulls on. Jervallin the god of halo completed this on August 2022 in which not only did he ascend himself he won 20000 dollars from m0ist cr1tickal which is the only reason jervallin took on the challenge. Hindi word for the shrub Cordia Dichotoma. Also known as "gunda". Useful for making pickles. Characterized by its stickiness when cut raw. Can be used as a very rustic slang for an imbecile or in a jocular statement describing sticky situations.

Striver
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.
The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.

For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics.
