kthxbye

shortening of "k thx bye". The K is short for OK, which is short for oll korrect, which is a facetious alteration of All Correct. thx is short for thanx which is a facetious alteration of thanks which is short for thank you. Bye is short for goodbye, which is an alteration of alteration of God be with you. "kthxbye" is the pinnacle of English's advancement, shortening "All correct, Thank you, God be with you." into seven lowercase letters. Humanity is doomed. Obviously, it is used to end a conversation *fast* that you don't want to be in anymore.

Variation of 'kthxbye' - the internet bastardization of "OK, thank you, goodbye".

Generally used with contempt, or for hasty exit. See also - kthxbye

kthxdie

Variant of kthxbye and kthxbai, but with a mordant edge.

The original term kthxbye (okay, thanks, bye) is generally used to terminate a (n online) conversation in a quick manner, often with slight insult to the other party. The implication is that the other person is not even worth talking to.

kthxdie is like that, only more so, and with an added death wish.

Literally means, "Okay, thanks, bye" Usually said to be a bit more sarcastic and rude when trying to make a point. Used to end a conversation/point quickly.
