(n.) In Japanese (or, by and large, Asian) culture, the accomplishment of embracing defeat (and/or death) with equanimity and dignity. Literally meaning "composure" or "manliness".
Guy 1: Can you believe it? Mark gambled away his lifetime savings and doesn't even seem to feel bad about it.
Guy 2: I know, he's a total fuck-up.
Mark: It's called isagiyosa, guys.
