Illyrians

A race of bat-winged warrior fae who live in the mountains of the Night Court in war camps. Slightly backwards in some ways, but they've made progress in the last centuries. Part of Sarah Maas' books in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
The illyrians flew into the air when Rhysand landed and stayed there; I don't know if they planned to come down until we left.

Illyrians

Ancient Indo-European people who lived in the region that closely corresponds to modern-day Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Their language has clear connections to modern-say Serbo-Croatian. Their culture and symbols are chiefly the same as modern-day Croats, Serbs, Bosnians and Montenegrins. When Napoleon conquered what is today Slovenia and Croatia he renamed them the "Illyrian Provinces". When Croatia later attempted to break free from Austria-Hungary as an independent state, it was under the banner of "Illyrian independence".

Despite this, some tards (such as Wikipedia editors) and ZOG's try to claim that the Illyrians are represented today by Turkish Albanians.
Intelligent person:The '''Illyrians'' were an ancient Indo-European people, whose descendants today are the Croats and Serbs.

Mindless troll:Your an idiot. I saw on Wikipedia that them Albanians are the Illyrians.

Illyrian

The Illyrians are a group of people which inhabited the northwestern part of the Balkan Peninsula, from the 10th century bce onward before Slavs invaded the Balkan Peninsula, and dispersed Illyrians south of the land to the highlands of Kosovo and Albania, they are one of the oldest Indo-European people.
Albanian people are in large part descendants of the ancient Illyrians, who, like other Balkan peoples, were subdivided into tribes and clans.

Illyrians were not Slavs, they had their own individual language similar to the Albanian dialect.
Look an Albanian, he must be proud of his Illyrian heritage!

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
