Not to be confused with the word ‘hindsight’. If a person is a ‘Hyndsight’, they are someone who uses the Instagram Live Feature way too often. Instead of using the Live Feature to chat to friends, they will often use it as a way to do more outlandish things such as making food, writing music, and acting utterly insane.

Slang used in the West of Scotland. Mainly used by the 16-21 age demographic. If someone is a ‘Hyndsight’, they are someone who has a large social media following within a small community of people. For example, Ariana Grande is not a ‘Hyndsight’ because she has a large following within a large community of people, whereas an Instagram addicted Student can be considered a ‘Hyndsight’

That guy on Instagram is a real Hyndsight.

2020 is hindsight 

The year 2020 is overwith. What people living through the COVID-19 pandemic cannot wait to be able to say starting on January 1, 2021.

Jackie: Boy, that was a rough year. I am so glad we are in to 2021 and that whole COVID-19 mess is behind us. Donny was getting wound up about how COVIDgilent I was being.

Hindsight is 20/20 

Phrase used to describe the fact that it is easy for one to be knowledgable about an event after it has happened.

IE: An individual has a realization about the event that should have been obvious all along, yet they didn't catch on because they were acting in the heat of the moment.

Also allows one to learn from their mistakes.

After looking back on the situation, Jim realized that quitting his job was a foolish act.

Jim: "Dad, why did you let me quit my job without interceding?"

Dad: "Hindsight is 20/20, son, learn from your mistakes."
