Koopa-Backdash-Wave-Slide-Hover-Walk-Moon-Landing

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, characters who's walk-acceleration is lower than their traction value after wavelanding backwards can buffer a slight walk forwards to decrease the momentum lost. The walk input must be at its lowest value to perfectly execute the tech. (rough translation of inputs) Characters with low traction (Luigi) benefit worse than those with higher traction values in Melee. (i.e Gannondorf can benefit from the Koopa Backdash Wave Slide Hover Walk Moon Landing more than Luigi in terms of distance)

Hover-grating

A careless method of grating cheese by holding the block of cheese and grater high above the food, causing it to disperse everywhere but the intended dish.

Characterised by fragments of grated cheese found everywhere around the kitchen afterwards - often accompanied by a larger, dry block of remnant cheese left out for many days after said cheese-grating incident.

Particularly common in Rootes P 2nd kitchen, and generally anywhere inhabited by a German-Italian partnership.

Dude 1: "Awww wtf Jasper, there's cheese everywhere on the table again!"
Jasper: "Sorry dude, Francesco and I made pesto pasta last night and we were hover-grating the cheese over it."
Dude 1: "Aw not again dammit."
Pit: "In Luxembourg..."

Hover-grating is the only way to truly enjoy a German-Italian dish.

hosed

1. Messed up completely and without hope; to be in a hoplessly bad condition or position.
2. To spray with water from a hose.
3. Swindled or taken advantage of by deception.
4. To be waylaid and prevented from accomplishing something.

1) This engine is hosed. The pistons are seized and the block is cracked.
2) I hosed down the driveway this morning; now all the leaves and debris are gone.
3) I've been hosed! That Playstation I bought yesterday was an empty case weighted with rocks!
4) A: You, sir, are a hoser. I have done nothing today due to you distracting me! B: Nary, madame, I have hosed you not!
