A cross between a hippy and a gypsy. Having the qualities of both, but pertaining to neither in particular.

A hipsy is typically someone who wants to party, attend festivals regularly, and travel constantly.

A hipsy is cool, trendy and always with the times.

A variation on the word hip also, suggesting that it's hip to be a hipsy.

If we were all hipsys the world would be a far better place.

Hipstybratization

Short definition: Formerly sweet area initially taken over by hipsters, then by brats - all at the expense of forcing out the original inhabitants who no longer can afford living there.

Longer definition: Take for example Majorna in Sweden. Historically Majorna has been a place for the poor but has in recent years skyrocketed to become one of the most posh living areas around. Still with the historical whiff of ghetto in the atmosphere, hipsters flock like iPad'ing rats to the place, gentrifying it of its original inhabitants. With their wreckelss financial expenditures the hipsters has driven up the housing prices enormously which also attracts brat asses who are in search of exclusivity.

And so it begins, one hipster to the other:

"Hey man you see that poor area, I don't really know why but I so feel like waking my inner concrete ghetto realness, lets buy a flat for the fun of it and start another Hipstybratization yaay!"

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.

DM: The sad little orphan girl tugs at Steve's trenchcoat to get his attention, and ask for help saving her pet dog from...
Steve: I'd like to roll a strength check against strangling the orphan.
Dave: I call dibs on the dog.
DM: You murderhobos disgust me.

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.

"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."
