Hating life

A phrase used in response to someone's misfortune. It could be used to offer sympathy, but more often than not it's an exclamation of malicious joy.
The phrase has dropped its possessive prefix – originally "He/She/It must be hating life!" – in order to be simplified to its current state.
Gabrielle: Woah, check this out! Paris Hilton's Chihuahua just shat all over her!

Ian: Hating life!

having a life

Having a life is the state of not just being alive but doing something meaningful with it. Often used to insult people who don't have a life like johny.
"Jimmy tried to find the definition of having a life on urban dictionary but there was none he wrote a definition that he thinks is funny" said Johny
"HA HA jimmy doesn't have a life"

not having a life

Not having a life is a sad yet common downfall of many people and hopefully someday they will get off their asses and find one.
Person 1: Hey, what do you call writing definitions about people you don't like on urban dictionary?

Person 2: Immature? Stupid?

Person 1: Close! Not having a life!

Person 2: That was my next guess.

Imagine having a life

Not having a life like everyone elses because they are a simp to every girl
Chelsea couldnt Imagine having a life because she steals boyfreinds

having absolutely no life at all

sitting awake at 3 am looking at goat pics, reporting morgz, and bing in a fucking stupid discord call with someone who have never met, and never will meet, because you have no real friends, no real life, and you are just overall a fucking failure as an individual. Meanwhile someone living about 10 mins away from you texts you that have been drawing dicks for the past hour for absolutely no reason other than that you probably ruined their life in some way, because you are a fucking cancer patient
its pretty damn gay having absolutely no life at all.
A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
