Griptape thumb

A very common skin condition that affects many skateboarders, griptape thumb is the wear and tear of the skin on the thumb caused by new griptape (an adhesive-backed, sandpaper-like sheet applied to the top of a skateboard which gives the rider grip).

To prevent griptape thumb, wrap your thumb in medical tape before a skate session.

Gripkin

A gripkin is the act of using ones own hand to capture some of the gas as it is being passed out of ones own ass. This can be accomplished with or without cloths. The purpose is so that one can better smell the fragrance of ones own fart, however sometimes the purpose is to share the smell with a friend.

Jimpy always gets a kick out of surprising me by delivering a fresh gripkin to my face. Lucky for me he has a small hand!

grain grippa

Old person, usually of grandfather age defined by an ability to nap through nearly any life situation. The term was given to describe the iron grasp such a 'grain grippa' has to their wooden rocking chair during such siesta.

Hit 'em over the head with a beer can or turn up the hit list as loud as you want, that grain grippa ain't gonna wake up for nobody.

Being charged an exorbitant amount of money for something trivial, almost to a point of being ripped off. The origination of grippage comes from the pain of over paying for something that it feels like your balls are figuratively being gripped.
