The band originally consisting of Calum Kelly (singer/songwriter) Jordan "scissorhands" Kelly and Adam " spaz boffin" Barrow have now split up citing " unresolveable circumstances". It is believed in the uk press that calum kelly instigated the bands separation becoming disillusioned with his brothers alex turner obsession. Scissorhands also has recently been in trouble with the law after apparently stealing a black leather jacket from george micheal. A statement his agent released stated, were sick of this rumour jordan did not steal the jacket it was given to him.

In 1991 he moved to Paris, and became the designer for Givenchy Ready to wear (RTW) and Haute Couture Collection in 1995, until 1997. He is currently the Chief Designer for Dior, and is best known for how controversial he is. He is one of the most original, and, as some would put it, "freakish" designers out there. PETA hates him, as he is known to frequently incorporate furs and other animals into his designs.
