Short for videogamester, combining (video)gamer and gangster. A person who is part of a certain game community engaged in an online gang war with another such community such as Xbox vs. Playstation, Infinity Ward vs. Treyarch, PC vs. console and so on. Possible symptoms of gang affiliation are overzealous brand loyalty, arguing on youtube, basically having nothing more important to talk about and virginity.
"Jim keeps sending me these links to those horrible Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3 graphic comparison clips whenever a new game comes out."
"I take it he then starts bitching about how the colors look more realistic on one console than the other? And when the other idiots who comment on youtube disagree, he starts talking about the tv-screen they used for the clip and how biased they were?"
"Exactly, he's a total gamester. I told him to fuck off and then I just had sex with my girlfriend."

Get the Gamemaster mug.THE best Computer Games show ever devised, by Channel 4, 1991 to 1998...
A few of the notable reasons for the success of this show are the following:
1. Dominik Diamond - a laughably humorous presenter, with quickfire remarks and inuendo's which ALWAYS brought a laugh on an episode by episode basis...Dexter Flecther took over for a season, and proved without the Diamond, you'll only show the ruff...
2. Patrick Moore - the Games Master, who was perfectly chosen for the eccentric co-presenter, which GamesGuru (among other crappy rip off shows) haven't even come CLOSE to competing with...
3. The sets - ALL of the sets were cleverly devised and picked, and changed with each series to give a sense of progression along with the games...the lighting, smoke effects and general props for the earlier installments of the series all helped to make the show a classic...the 'oil rig' notably the best...
4. The games - by nowadays standards games during that period are deemed obselete, but Mario, Doom, Street Fighter 2, Daytona USA, to name a few have ALL paved the way for the general template use for the games of today. Much like 60's music making the template for all music thereafter...
5. Dave Perry AKA Barry Bandanna - a fellow presenter, who worked with a popular games magazine at the time...also funny, laughable and lighthearted - his commentry also gave us all the occasional laugh...
