Host Ended Game

The most common and annoying way for a game to end in the Call of Duty 4. An unfortunate result of laziness and negligence on the part of the game developers.
1. The next map was Broadcast, and I saw that 4 people had voted to skip. I knew that if one of those voters turned out to be the host, he would quit and end the game for everyone, like a little bitch. Sure enough, the game started and then it said "It's a Draw- Host Ended Game"

2. When John saw the countdown timer at the beginning of the game start at 11, he knew he was the host. So, as soon as his team was ahead, he quit so the game would end and he'd have a win on his record. John also does this as soon as he starts losing a game. John is an asshole.

3. (Inifinty Ward development team meeting)
dev1- Hey guys, how can we make sure that everyone has a shitty and frustrating experience whenever they sit down to play? The game is great, but we need to screw the customer somehow.

dev2- I have an idea! Let's make it so that one player is the "host", and if he decides to quit, then the game is over!

dev1- That is a fantastic idea! Way to think outside the box! You're getting a raise.

dev2- Thank you sir. It's nice that we are all uncreative lazy-asses who can't implement a simple workaround for this issue!

Game-ender

A hateful remark or jeer, that is so heinous it causes the target to stop any of their hateful comments. Used as a tactical strategy to keep others from hatin' back on to you. Only the most diabolical schemers will deploy this tactic.

Best used as something extremely embarrassing or something that your target does not want others knowing
Jim: Yo, i got a game-ender on you man, so you better shut up
Mark: Alright, I'll be quiet

Ender's Game Daze

The feeling one gets in a particularly numbing book ending. Derived from the depressing empty feeling one usually gets at the end of Ender's Game the first time they finish it.
I just finished Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. The book was excellent, but left me in an Ender's Game Daze.

At last he came to a door, with these words in glowing emeralds:
THE END OF THE WORLD
He did not hesitate. He opened the door and stepped through.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
