Widely used in Russia word, that means "a total kaput ".
Very useful when you wanna be expressive and avoid censored words at the same time.
Coming probably from the french word "gabelle", unpopular Indirect tax on salt (under the Ancient Regime, in France).
And the term "gabelle" is derived from the Italian "gabella" (a duty), itself originating from the Arabic word قَبَلَ (qabala, "he received").
So, having the duty = total end of everything.

the word gabllab originates from when younger people say words backwards. Gabllab is another word for ball bag and is often shortened to GAB.
