epismetology

From a Steve Miller song, "Enter Maurice", which uses the words "sweet words of epismetology". It was probably a misheard version of "pizmotality", a word coined in 1954 by Vernon Green of the Medallions. "Pizmotality" meant words so secret they can only be revealed to a lover. See "pompatus".
"My dearest darling, come closer to Maurice so I can whisper sweet words of epismetology in your ear and speak to you of the pompatus (pompitous) of love" (from "Enter Maurice", by Steve Miller)

street epistemology

A non-threatening, often public, discourse; designed to identify, explore and possibly modify deeply held personal beliefs through the use of the Socratic method.
Through my exposure to street epistemology, it became evident to me that faith--as a foundation for sustaining religious belief--is unreliable. How could divergently opposing religious systems expect to use faith as a method of conveying revealed Truth, yet come to mutually incompatible conclusions? Answer: they can not.

epistemology

A true subject-object fallacy.

A structure of verification.

A metastructure in which even when one is wrong one is right.
Kant created a structure of truth (epistemology) out of aesthetic itself. This had wide-ranging ramifications for aesthetic, will, and ethics. This occurred even though Kant used the term "aesthetic" to refer to form which was technically incorrect (aesthetic is contrapositive to form).

Marx also created an epistemology but his epistemology cannot answer Kant's epistemology because Marx created a structure of truth from form (formalism).

Episcatology

The study of how authorities control and weaponize end-time narratives, prophecies, or crises to shape behavior, obedience, and belief in the present. Not about how the world ends — but who gets to decide the story of the end.
“The government wasn’t predicting collapse — it was practicing episcatology, using fear of the future to manage people now.”
