egotise

Ego + expertise, when an individual thinks they have expertise in a subject but it is driven by their huge ego. In reality they don’t have knowledge on the topic but think they should give their opinion.

Person 1: Wow Frank really knows his stuff about fine wines.

Person 2: I think it’s his egotise.
