East Hampton, CT

a town in eastern-central Connecticut. Residents often have to explain that no, they don't live in the Hamptons, or in Massachusetts. known for making all sorts of bells, the nickname is Belltown and the high school's masot is the bellringer, or a man with a three cornered hat from the american revolution ringing a bell that looks strangely like a pirate. the redneck population is slowly increasing in east hampton, and people have been known to come "out of the woods" for its well known Old Home Day celebration. The town's high school and very nearby portland high school have an intense, and very bloody rivalry, especially in soccer. lake pocotopaug, although very green, is a wonderful place to swim, and participate in water sports of all types.

East Hampton, CT

A small town in Connecticut known for creating bells. The only real historic thing other than an old schoolhouse is the Bevin Bell factory, of which burned to the ground. Due to the town bring know for bells, it's highschoolers are known as "Bellringers". East Hampton has a Facebook page known as "Let's Talk East Hampton" of which people just argue. The Facebook page has also been known to censor accounts who they disagree with them. The towns relax spot is an irradiated lake known as Lake pocotopaug where the lifeguards don't do their job correctly. During July, the town holds its annual old homes day festival and parade. It is also home to a miss USA and one of connecticuts Governors, O'Neil. The Redneck population is just a bunch of kids who wear camouflaged NAPA auto parts hats and drive lifted trucks. They only call themselves redneck because they mow their lawns without mommys help and drive ATVs.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
