Grazy, mad, dizzy headed, round the bend.

I believe this word originates from "Deolali" which is a former site of a British Army transit camp in India where soldiers were sent to recuperate if they were considered to be under traumatic stress as it's know today.

dooryard

The exterior area of a home surrounding the most commonly used entryway, typically the driveway area; A logical extension of "barnyard," "back yard" and "front yard," it is likely that this compound word grew out of a necessity to distinguish working areas from living areas.
