The process or means by which a gaseous discharge is removed from a porous or absorbant medium(i.e. couch cushion) usually accomplished with the aid of a broom or other form of cleaning agent.

decatify

This is what often needs to be done after a person and their cats have moved out of a place. It is the process of removing all dander and fine fur from a house or apartment, so that people with severe cat allergies can live their without taking a constant supply of allergy medication, and having their asthma triggered.

We really needed to decatify the apartment before moving in. Before we decatified the apartment, even after the professional carpet cleaners and cleaning crew came in, I kept on sneezing and wheezing. When I washed down the walls and rinsed off the wash cloth, loads of fine fur and dander was suspended in the water. Gross!

defatify

1. To desparately try to get rid of the "spring sixty" after binging on margaritas, homemade cookies, and whatever else you came across while in paradise/your cupboards at home for the past seven days.
2. To excessively eat grass and seeds while working out four times per day.

Although the two gorgeous college students had a fabulous spring break, the unfortunate consequence was having to DEFATIFY for the next six weeks in order to be able to wear shorts in the summer.

Formallly spelled deLARPify: the process of slowly (or again - see larpified - quickly if you're really good) de-mindfucking a person so they no longer believe they are vampires, elves, ents or other ungothly creatures.

PC and Console 'shootahs' make a fine instrument to kick the elf out of someone's disturbed psyche.

You bit her neck and actually *drank* some drops of blood? Man, you need to delarpify ASAP!
