California Sick Day

A euphemism for calling in sick to work so that one may stay at home and fist his or her significant other throughout normal business hours.

This does not require the employee to actually be ill. Instead, a California Sick Day is defined by the act of business-hours fisting, regardless of the health of the participants.
Employee 1: You missed the big meeting yesterday.
Employee 2: Indeed. I took a California Sick Day.
Employee 1: Up to your elbows in shit either way, right?
Often a baldfaced lie used to sueak out a couple of extra paid days off; employed to extend a long weekend, travel to an out-of-state Wednesday night rock concert, stay in bed all day with a new romantic interest, etc. Most people would rather come to work sick and risk infecting their colleagues than give up an illicitly obtained and healthy day of fun.

More from Urban Dictionary
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
