When a self defined sober person takes a vacation for the purpose of doing drugs, however does not consider their drug use during that vacation as a relapse or counting against their sobriety, but rather a pause in time, where they will continue counting forward in their sobriety after said crackcation has ended.

How has she been sober for 8 months? Didn't she get arrested for possession last weekend? That doesn't count because she was on a crackcation.

crackcation 

A crackcation is a vacation taken by drug addicts for the sole purpose of doing drugs.

A crackcation is frequently taken by self identified sober people who pause their sobriety journey to go away on a drug vacation, then return home and continue counting their sobriety goals. After a crackcation, the person continues counting their days sober as if time stood still.

The crackcation "doesn't count" against the persons sobriety in self reported sobriety claims and the individual does not count the crackcation as a relapse.

How did she get a one year chip? Didn't she get arrested for possession last month? Oh, that doesn't count, she was on a crackcation.

Shady activity, usually accompanied by unsavory individuals associated with narcotics - most notably crack cocaine. Cracktion is the result of combining "crack" and "action", as in "He smokes crack" and "There's some crazy action in this neighborhood".
