to put down or undermine someone or their efforts, the opposite of "pump up"

also, to psych out somebody in a negative way

chump down:

"to hell with what they say man....don't ever let anyone chump you down, I know you can pull this off!"

Let me chimp it down for you - when I said we need to make the interface more intuitive, I meant "you need to learn HTML and fix that hideous piece of junk".

Crumpdown

A crumpdown is when you have the last 4 crumpets, they're absolutely fucking lush and then you finish them. They're so nice that you want more, but there aren't any crumpets left so you're left helpless wanting for more.
Symptoms are: Shaking, cold sweats, increased heart rate, slurring of words and blurred vision

"Duude, I need a fix I'm crumping down pretty hard, make it extra buttery. This is the worst crumpdown ever!"
