But everything changed on May 6th, 2024, when RYUNVI, a major figure in Catburgers, left. His departure marked the beginning of the server's downfall. LEAK, the server’s owner, once known for his kindness, began showing his darker side, turning into a racist scum. Tensions boiled over on June 25th, when LEAK and MOONI clashed over inviting a new member, leading to MOONI’S departure. This caused a ripple effect, with others like DAMAGED, MINEPOP, and LUM leaving as well, leaving the community fractured.
The worst came when LEAK DELETED THE SERVER, erasing years of memories. As shocking revelations about his racism surfaced, former members were betrayed and felt abandoned when LEAK shifted his focus to moderating a FNAF Tower Defense server. In a bold move, VICTOR, a moderator in the LUCID UGCS server, exposed LEAK’S misconduct and racism. This led to LEAK’S DEMOTION and the server’s ultimate collapse.
In the aftermath, former Catburgers members began a journey of renewal, learning hard lessons about accountability, integrity, and the importance of community trust.
