The term given to a young male between the ages of 12-19 who generally spend their day sitting on side streets of Burwood a suburb in the inner west) smoking in attempt to be "cool". They can usually be clearly identified by wearing the following brands of clothing: Nike, Adidas, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren... This can be accessorised with a Gucci Hat.

I don't want to go to Burwood because there are so many Burwood Lads around who smoke bud and pop caps thinking they're hectic.

burnewood is a small community, on the edge of millwoods. located on the south side of edmonton.
