A user friendly folder/path listing often found on internet forums or online listings. each word in the list is a clickable link that will take you back to that page.

The breadcrumb is a means of getting back to previous pages without having to use your browsers back button. It is usefull on some websites where previous pages have expired and you cannot access them with the browsers back button.

the term breadcrumb is taken from the childrens story Hansel and Gretel in which the children dropped a trail of bread crumbs so that they could find their way back "home".

When someone gives you tid bits of information on someone or something as to manipulate your feelings and opinions about it. It is a shady way to behave and used by the most opportunistic of individuals.

The information is always for their benefit because they don’t care about you. No authentic person breadcrumbs.

Bread crumber 

Someone who is leading multiple members of the opposite sex on at the same time so they always have someone there. Either semi-romantically or just to have someone to fuck if someone else falls through. A bread-crumber often makes each one of their hopeful contestants feel special but doesn't give a shit about any of them once they have actually lured one into their bed/arms. Different than a player because they throw out crumbs Hansel and Gretel style and don't waste time trying to keep up multiple actual relationships.
