An older woman, usually between 50 and 60, who frequents clubs or venues where blues music is performed. "Bluegars" tend to be highly intoxicated and overly aggressive toward younger men, especially if those younger men are musicians. Unlike "cougars" who are generally attractive older women, "bluegars" are almost never attractive.

The Belegarth Medieval Combat Society is a foam weapon combat sports organization, operating as a not for profit corporation. It is composed of a number of realms, which compete at regional and national events every year. Typically, each realm also holds individual fighting practices several times a week. Realms vary in size from just a handful of people to over a hundred fighters.
