"Arthesians: 1) American people born and genetically developed from multiple races, who are of multiple shades and skin tones. 2) People of color, descendants of Indians, Africans, Caucasians and all other races born in American. 3) Generations of people born in America that has evolved from a melting pot of multiple races.
America, nor the genetic ethnic culture of the American people are the same people of the founders and developers of this country. There has never been a vote by the people to what identify is appropriate, from generation to generation, the identify was just forced into the minds of young and old people.
It is my intention to seek a identity change for Blacks/African Americans that bring dignity to their identity "Arthesians". We are not Colored, Black or African. The first time our identified from Negro, Colored to Black was in the 60'. After the organization of the "Black Panthers" and desegregated in the Southern states; Mr. James Brown, published a song "I am Black and Proud". Then all "Colored people start referring themselves as "Black". Mr. Jessie Jackson in 1987, after a video game had degrading content about "Black people" changed blacks identity to "African-Americans".

Arthesians
Charles, your race identity have changed again, your race was once called Colored, then Black, to African-American and now, you are being identified as an "Arthesian". Wow, "Arthesian" does sound better than any of the previous identities. The word "Arthesian" seem to eradicate "Color", I am impressed!

Get the Arthevan mug.A term referring to the belief that art's purpose is to entertain the viewer, and that art is seen as a spectacle to be enjoyed at an aesthetic and commercial level.
I created this term as a reflection to the article 'Where is the Genie?" by Luis Camnitzer. He discusses the relationship between art and technology, and questions the impact that new media and technological advancements are having on artistic creation within the creators' and audiences' world. The quote that stood out to me the most was "Artwork is mostly consumed for entertainment so both artists and museums are driven to present spectacles instead of fulfilling their tasks."
Museums were places of thought and education, collecting and exhibiting “artefacts for future reference”, however now museums drive this narrative as they advertise shocking shows and works by well-established artists, promising to entertain the audience. They are using the works as bait to attract consumers who spend their “free time” in the cafes and gift shops and therefore drive up sales and revenue. Artists now focus their time and skill on producing works that stand out and amaze while ignoring the potential message that could be interwoven within the piece. He believes art has been commodified for mass consumption and entertainment rather than fostering a meaningful engagement with the audience.

In an ethereal sense, the producer was an artheangel for that musician by pushing her into her deepest emotional state, allowing her to release the full expression to touch her audience. No wonder why she won that grammy.
