I Know For A Fact

An introductory phrase used before an argumentative point is made to make your point seem valid, even though it most likely is not. Commonly seen as an immediate red-flag to someone who has no idea what they are talking about, and an early sign that what they are about to say has absolutely zero evidence to back it up.
I know for a fact that Barack Obama is a muslim, hates America, and is purposely trying to ruin our economy.

that could be a fact

When you're trying to play some one or if you really believe what their saying could be true, usually not the case, you say this to make someone feel real small.
Person 1: Yo, dem bul's just talkin all types of lala. They know they don't want non of this. Cause I'm the truth.
Person 2; damn young bul, that could be a fact...

It's a Fact Card

The tactic of ending debate by loudly declaring one's own position as an indisputable "fact," thereby framing any further disagreement as irrational denialism. This move aggressively shuts down nuance by claiming the mantle of objective truth, often by cherry-picking a single statistic or a broadly accepted premise while ignoring context, interpretation, or counter-evidence. It's a power play to position oneself as the voice of reality and the opponent as a "fact-denier."
It's a Fact Card *Example: In a climate change discussion: "CO2 levels are rising. That's a fact card. If you disagree, you're anti-science." This ignores the nuanced debate about impacts, mitigation strategies, and economic trade-offs, reducing everything to a single, weaponized data point to foreclose all further conversation.*
