Yihimee is a slang term mostly used in the Bay Area California. It originated as a question stemming from “do you hear me?” Used while holding a conversation with friends ensuring that they’ve remained engaged in the topic in which your speaking about. Yihimee progressed into a statement rather than a question adding a hint of confidence indicating your sure that your thoughts are being acknowledged.
