You wouldn't understand

'You wouldn't understand' refers to the meme: It's a _____ thing, you wouldn't understand.

It's a (insert anything you can think of: 'Person/First Name' 'Place/Jersey' 'Thing/Jeep') thing, you wouldn't understand. If you can think of it, it's been inserted into this meme.

The original phrase was "It's a black thing, you wouldn't understand". I could not find when it originated, but the earliest found it mentioned was in a book published in 1991 by Eugene Victor Wolfenstein, a social theorist and psychoanalyst, titled 'The Victims of Democracy: Malcolm X and the Black Revolution'.
It's a black thing, you wouldn't understand. It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand. It's an Anime thing, you wouldn't understand. It's a Jersey thing, you wouldn't understand. It's a browncoat thing, you wouldn't understand.

You wouldn’t understand

A phrase used by someone usually while they’re busy feeling sorry for themselves over a situation that has them so upset they’ve selfishly deluded themselves into believing no one else could possibly understand what they’re going through.

All they want is your pity but you won’t help matters if you give it to them
Kathy: Come on Simon. I just want to help you. why won’t you talk to me?

Simon: (Sighs dramatically) You wouldn’t understand

you wouldn't understand, you're not in college

said by a person to get on another persons nerves. usually the other person is asking a question. with which the first person responds with "you wouldnt understand, youre not in college". this can be said over and over and over again
sara: "how was dinner?"

sara: "but YOURE not in college either?!:
Ryan: "exactly. you wouldnt understand that because youre not in college"

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.

Ain't no use in goin home,
Jody's got your girl and gone.
Ain't no use in goin back,
Jody's got your Cadillac,
Ain't no use in feeling blue,
Jody's took your checkbook too.
