Would it
Would't be said that new year's waste of time instead? What'd happen if mere mortals stopped toiling for bread? You will never see the old year again that's gone under an overprotective world heralded out asunder thunder.

A contraction of either "It would" or "That would". Used to shorten a sentence down in an easy to understand manner. Emulates Olde-English without accurately being such.

(You would use "t'was" or "'twas". People more commonly spell the word "t'was" as "'twas", but it is more accurate to say t'was according to the rules of contraction in English grammar.)
James: Wanna go hang out at the mall next week?

Jill: T'would be cool. T'would be nice if you'd give me a call later this week to remind me though!

James: Would it? T'would be very difficult, since I don't have your number!

And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids

The catch phrase used by every single villain in a Scooby Doo episode.
Some Scooby Doo cast member pulls off the mask of the monster and some random person that appeared in the episode's face is revealed. He then shouts, "And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids"

And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

The catchphrase that the villians of the television show "Scooby Doo" would utter after being apprehended and unmasked.
"That's right, it was I who committed the quadruple homicide and armed robbery. And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!"

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
