To protect and otherwise shield from waste/ineptness, usually after a long period of decline.

Though its better to avoid getting into a tight spot in the first place, if you're already there vancinating is good way to go.

It was too late to vancinate, we had to nuke the site from orbit, it was the only way to be sure.

People who righteously fight to eradicate preventable diseases from their communities by bravely allowing qualified medical professionals inject them and their offspring with antibodies triumphantly developed in laboratories in order to trigger an immune response sufficient enough to protect them from said preventable disease.

"Hey, Jane is having a measles party, do you want to bring your kids so they can hurry up and get a preventable disease?"
"Hell no. My kids don't get preventable diseases. I'm a vaccinater."

When a company forces their employees to get a vaccination or be terminated.

I can't believe the courts in the United States are allowing forced vaccination of the covid vaccine. Everyone should have the right to choose if they want the vaccine or not and should not have to worry about loosing their job if they choose not to.

Vaccination 

The administration of antigenic material to produce immunity, or close to immunity, to a disease.

Only people in third world countries who can't afford it and retarded people who either don't understand science or are religious nutjobs don't get vaccines. Some wackos still think it causes like autism - but there is absolutely no link between the two and these people are both wrong and doing damage to the research that could be getting done on the real reasons for autism.

The two rounds of vaccinations have eradicated polio from most of the countries in the world and reduced the worldwide incidence from an estimated 350,000 cases in 1988 to just over 1000 cases in 2007.
