A flirtationship either before OR on February 14th. Valentining can continue after February 14th if both parties agree.

Boy: "So what is this thing we have?"

Girl: "Well, this 'thing' started before February 14th, therefore I guess we can call it...'valentining'?"

Valentining

The act of committing romantic acts (i.e. Kissing, humping, ect.) with your valentine for the sake of Valentine's day, not out of lust or desire. Often occurs in middle-school aged children peer-pressured into kissing.

Guy 1- "Dude, did you seriously make out with Sarah?"
Guy 2- "Yeah, but we were just valentining."
