Totalitarian Media Zealots

An umbrella term describing a growing number of intrusive celebrity gossip blogs, and entertainment news websites. An abbreviated form of term i.e "TMZ" serves as the title for the popular entertainment news site TMZ.com.

A totalitarian media zealot can be easily described as a faux journalist employed to "find the scoop", "breaking the story", "dig up the dirt", and "spread rumors" on high profile individuals in the entertainment industry.

The credibility and ethics of totalitarian media zealots is perpetually in question as they become even more intrusive, libelous, and blantantly shirk the rights to privacy of our favorite television, music, and movie stars.

Totalitarian media zealots are commonly known to amass large standing armies of paparazzi. Not to be confused with a "press photographer", paarazzi are ruthless paid mercenaries of totalitarian media zealots. TMZ paparazzi is dispatched to any location where a known celebrity is spotted and usually it is not a red carpet event. Personal privacy is habitually disregarded by a totalitarian media zealot paparazzo for the sake of achieving an impromptu photo or video of the celebrity.

Totalitarian media zealots are proving to be menace to American society as the demand for quick and easy access to celebrity "infotainment", "gossip", and "rumors" increases exponentially. The spread of zealous media totalitarianism is currently undermining the integrity of journalism as the unethical tactics utilized by TMZ are being adopted by reputable press outlets.

Totalitarianism

Domination by a government of all political, social, and economic activities in a nation. Totalitarianism is a phenomenon of the twentieth century: earlier forms of despotism and autocracy lacked the technical capacity to control every aspect of life. The term is applied both to fascist governments (see fascism) and to many forms of communism.

Totalitarian Democracy

A system of government in which elected representatives make decisions on behalf of an entire country. While granted the right to vote, citizens have little to no participation or voice in the decision-making process of the government.

Obvious in Canada and America.
1 - "I cant believe the government's doing that, despite the entire country protesting against it!"
2 - "Get used to it bro. That's totalitarian democracy for ya."

Totalitarian

A form of government that controls every aspect of people's lives, tells the people what to think, & brutally punishes anyone who's a flaw in the system or disagrees with the government.
Examples of totalitarian countries are Nazi Germany, Stalin's Russia, North Korea, Maoist China, Saddam's Iraq, & Ayatollah's Iran.

Someone who thinks the government should control every aspect of the people's lives. Someone who thinks every problem in the country should be taken care of by the government.

A parent that watches their kid like a hawk 24/7, tells them what to think, punishes their kids if they don't agree with them, looks at every message their kid sends or receives, & doesn't let their kid do anything alone.

A boyfriend that reads every message his girlfriend sends or receives, constantly watches his girlfriend, thinks he owns her, hurts her when she talks to another guy, & decides who she can & cant be friends with.

Totalitarians are scum.
I hope that totalitarian regime is brought down.

My parents are totalitarians.

Girls if your boyfriend is a totalitarian then dump him & slap him.

totalitarian-elephants

Republicans haved employed in the United States a means to sway public opinion. They use a DoD tactic called Perception Management. See Wikipedia Listing "Perception Management". They have employed this tactic on Democrats that "sit on the fence" come time to vote. Thereby flipping votes and deceptively becoming Totalitarian. Thusly the name totalitarian-elephant. They are truly "Reds".
Those totalitarian-elephants, using Perception Managment, have virtually flipped the US voters to Republicans.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
