Toerian is a great loyal guy who will be there for you until the end. He is outgoing and fun on the outside but he holds secrets and insecurities on the inside. Therian 

A therian is someone who identifies as a non human earthen animal either spiritually or psychologically.

Therian is short for therianthropy or therianthrope. Theri= animal, anthro=man. Therians can have "shifts" but not all do. All therians understand that they cannot physically shift and are not physically an animal, they know they are physically human.

Therians are a category that fall under otherkin. Otherkin is anyone who identifies as non human. This includes therians, mythkin, fictionkin, plankin, etc. Not all therians are spiritual, some are psychological and not all therians have a connection with their theriotype.

Her theriotype is a rabbit.

He psychologically identifies as a hawk.

She spiritually identifies as a fish.

Therianthrope

Someone who identifies as one or more non-human animal(s) on a personal, non-physical, integral level. Someone can be a therianthrope for spiritual reasons, psychological reasons or a mixture of both spiritual & psychological reasons. A connection on its own doesn't make someone a therianthrope. That would just be animal-hearted. Therianthropes do not have to feel a connection to or even like the animal(s) they identify as.

Therianthropes are not delusional or mentally ill. For therianthropy to be a delusion, it has to contradict external reality. Therianthropes will acknowledge that they are human, this is why therianthropes are not delusional. For therianthropes to be mentally ill, therianthropy actually has to hinder functioning. Again, most therianthropes function just fine.

Short for therianthrope a therian is somebody who feels a connection with an animal. Not necessarily an animal from this plane either, although most accepted therians tend to be animals such as wolves or big cats there are some who believe themselves to be unicorns or other mythical creatures.
The connection the person feels with the animal can range from feeling they have been born into the wrong body (similar to those with gender issues) to simply a belief that they were an animal in a past life and still retain some memories or behaviours of said animal.
Therians do not physically become the animal they have a connection with, although some do describe "mental shifts" where they feel their whole thought process becomes that of the animals.
Therians are not to be confused with the Furry fandom who have a completely different relationship with animals.....
