Timeflation

The sense that time just goes by too quickly. What used to be an hour now seems a mere fraction of it. Tempus fugit, as the saying goes. The year just whizzes by. Maybe a tear in the space-time continuum caused by CERN is to blame, or maybe we're just getting older and one day is the numerator over a denominator that, as it gets bigger, causes the sense of time to shrink and feel shorter. When you're 10, the perception of one day is 1/(365x10); but when you're 50, the perception of one day is 1/(365x50), which is a much smaller fraction, causing timeflation.

Live in the "here and now" and enjoy every moment because as you get older you become more sensitive to the impact of timeflation.
