The Wei Effect

The act of intending to study in a public or private place, but the intention has turned into utter un-productivity when a friend joins the social space. However you end up leaving that area smarter but yet nothing done.
Everybody is studying in starbucks doing their own stuff, then Wei walked in, wei goes around and said hi to everyone, starts a conversation with the professor about some metaphysical concept, another guy joins in the conversation, then soon everybody whose purpose was to do homework in starbucks has turned into a huge dialogue about sexuality, religion, politics, or some other metaphysical snuff. Productivity went from 100% to 10%, yet everyone probebly gained about 5 critical IQ points.

"Dude, did you do anywork today at starbucks man?"
"Nope, it was the Wei Effect, my smart sociology friend came in, and instead of working on pathology, we ended up talking about human sexuality and its correlation to praxis"
"What the fuck does Praxis mean?"
"I have no clue, but its sounds smart"
"Dude, f***ing Wei Effect, now i wont do well in my patho test, however my sociology of sex exam will be peace of cake".

Worth the Weight

A joke about the heavy founder of Valve, Gabe Newell, a game developer that creates great games but is terribly slow. (See Valve Time) It stems from Gabe himself saying that a certain game will be "Worth the wait" when it comes out.
It created a Youtube craze, just look it up on there.
Person 1: Half-Life 3 is taking an awfully long time to be released, and Gabe has no news...
Person 2: Hopefully it will be worth the weight!

potato with the weird haircut

describes the appearance and behavior of the internet homo Dan Howell also known as @danisnotonfire
"who is that potato with the weird haircut?"

"that must be Dan Howell!"

pls do not bully the poor vegetable.

The weird part of Youtube

The weird part of YouTube is typically an area full of video irrelevant to what you were originally watching. These videos would normally go untouched, but become popular when a significant amount of people follow of a chain of "related videos" into said area of YouTube. These videos usually have misleading titles and thumbnails, or are just plain... weird.

Since most people become confused when they somehow cross into the weird part of YouTube, they share the experience by commenting about it, usually to find that a great many of YouTubers have also reached this conclusion
"I was watching a video about Gary Coleman and 5 'related videos' later I got stuck in the weird part of Youtube."

"Somebody help me! I've been stuck in the weird part of Youtube for 5 days! I'm surrounded by deformed babies and old people!"

"Somehow I stumbled into the weird part of Youtube and I've never wanted to punch something so badly."

The weird part of youtube

The section of Youtube that consists of the odd videos that are submitted. Normally reached by consistently clicking on "Suggestions" or "Recommended Videos."

The Weird Part of YouTube

Normally reached by endlessly clicking on recommended videos, the Weird Part of YouTube can also be reached in the vice-versa sense, as in once you're there, you can also endlessly click of recommended videos to get out. See paradoxical loop.
After more than three hours of watching recommended videos, Randy Marsh had finally reached his ultimate goal: the Weird Part of YouTube.

Cue the Internet Shortage episode of South Park.
