An old Southern American term for sugar diabetes. Most notably used in a Saturday Night Live sketch featuring Kristen Wiig as Paula Deen.

The Sugarhill Gang 

A New Jersey rap group consisting of Michael "Wonder Mike" Wright, Henry "Big Bank Hank" Jackson and Guy "Master Gee" O'Brien.

The group is most famous for releasing "Rapper's Delight" in 1979, which was the first rap single to reach the Bilboard Top 40. The group engraved itself in rap history as a "founding father" of rap. Other rappers who are seen as founding fathers are: Kurtis Blow, DJ Kool Herc, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Eminem and Run-DMC.

We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
