Tagbol

Like spagbol being short for spaghetti bolognese, Tagbol is the abbreviation of tagiatelli bolognese, probably also coined from someone who couldn't pronounce tagiatelli bolognese in the first instance.

Leon: Fancy coming over for dinner tonight mate?

Mark: Can do, on my own tonight, what you having?

Leon: Lisa is making Tagbol.

Mark: Nice one, Tagbol is my favourite.

tarboles

Misinterpretation of the term "tar balls" which are literally balls of tar. These are found along the coast of Hawaii. Jack Johnson is a surfer (from Hawaii)turned musician, hence the reference to a common item that you'd see when surfing.
