TNOization

TNOization is the when the new dev team or sometimes the old one, ends up pushing for more "realism" while striping away any of the charm that make the mod popular in the first place. The term was coined after The New Order mod for Hearts of Iron IV which started out as the popular alternative history setting when the Axis won World War Two. But when the new dev team came along they started to push to make the mod "realistic" striping away the enjoyment in favour of making it more grounded, leading to the death of views within the mod community.

Person 1: IDK, I usually refer it as "TNO" whenever HOI4 mods attempt to become "realistic" while taking away some of the charms that made the mod popular in the first place.

Person 2: Why not TNOization? Because it sounds better then just TNO in general.
