A word to describe the actions of one unthinking individual, affecting another individual or group of individuals, usually in connection with photography, video-recording, or sound recording.
A typical example would be were a line-up of photographers are waiting to capture or video and known event about happen, when they are 'squibbed' by someone walking right in front of the line up, causing the loss of the treasured picture.

A squib is a term from the Harry Potter series written by J. K. Rowling meaning a muggle(non-magical person) born to wizard parents.
- Filch, the Hogwarts caretaker is a squib.
