Soup Opera

Any Food Network, Cooking Channel, or DIY etc. program or series that has nothing (or little) to do with the actual preparation of food, a recipe, or demonstration of a culinary technique. For example 'The Next Food Channel Star', 'Great Food Truck Race', or 'Cutthroat Kitchen'. Basically any show that centers around a contest, or serial (cereal) competition on any of the aforementioned networks!

'Cutthroat Kitchen' is a Food Network SOUP OPERA because its more a weekly culinary game show than a program about how to cook food!

'Next Food Network Star' is a SOUP OPERA because it draws the audience into the drama generated by the weekly trials backstabbing and gamesmanship) the various would-be stars must overcome to get their own Food Network program

Soapopera

1.A kind of show that is very depressing and that is very sexually dramatizing. There is no shagging, no nudity, there worst than reality TV.

2.A kind of show that is worse than Jerry Springer and gayer than crossing over.

General Hospital sucks! As the World Turns reaks of death! All my Children sucks ass! The Young and the Restless is Roc Hudson gay! All soapoperas must and needs to be cancelled and taken off the air on CBS, ABC, and NBC pemantantlly.
