To throw a fit; to make a scene.
Mimi had a shindy when she realized UNO's gave her a pickle as a side order instead of mashed potatos.

Any short independent film. The upper time limit to be considered a shindy is arbitrarily stated to be 49 minutes, but any film that is less than feature length may be considered a shindy.

1. Literally shit indie; refers to music so vile that the offending party cannot even get signed by their friend's label and thus assumes that it is independent or indie
2. Nobody music that nobody cares about.

I'm sick of these shindie acoustic bitches whining because emo doesn't sell.
He thinks a long list of obscure shindie bands can cover up his rancid taste in music.

A crap type of shoes that Indie-freaks like to wear. They look like old ladies pumps with a touch of Roman sandal.
Shindie literally means "Shit Indie" merging together to become shindie.

Guy #1- Dude, you're wearing those stupid shindies again. What is up with that?
Guy #2- I think they look cool!
Guy #1- You look like you've just come back from Bingo with your old lady shoes. Do you wear huge underwear too?

Literally it means shit-indie
However as this means it is a term rather open to interpration a better definition would run thus:
A musical genre which is largely mainstream, as equally related to pop as it is to true indie, rather devoid of talent and/or personality and, cynics would argue, produced purely for a quick buck by a celebrity seeking band.
Shindie is of course followed by fans of shindie- "shindies" or "shindie kids" who wear all the stereotypical "indie clothes" and try far too hard to be indie, sort of similar to the wannabe or scene kid in the emo social group.
True followers of shindie will NEVER admit that the music they listen to is shindie.
